About us

bemypresent is a free web tool for creating interactive digital gifts: letters, photos and messages the other person opens on their phone as an animated experience (an envelope, a surprise box, a puzzle, a scratch-off card or a question with a “No” button that runs away), shared by link or QR code, with no sign-up and nothing to install.

Why it exists

The messages that matter most have ended up as one line in a chat, among a hundred others. A birthday wish, good news or an “I miss you” gets read in a second and lost in the scroll.

bemypresent brings back the moment of opening something: an envelope, a box or a scratch-off card, with your photos and your words at the end. It's for the things you'd only say to one person, and also a way to wrap a real present: a ticket, a trip or some money.

How it works, at a glance

  • Creating a gift is free and you don't need an account: while you work on it, it's in “My gifts” in that browser.
  • To publish it, you confirm your email with a 6-digit code (there are no passwords) and it's saved to your account, so you can see it on any device.
  • You share it with a link or its QR code.
  • The recipient opens it in the browser on their phone or computer, without installing anything or creating an account.
  • On the Free plan, the gift can be viewed for 24 hours after it's published. With Pro and Premium, you pay once per gift (no subscription).

What we care about

  • Gifts are private

    Only people with the link or the QR code can see them, and they don't show up in search engines.

  • No spoilers

    The link preview (in iMessage, WhatsApp…) only shows who it's for and who it's from. What's inside stays hidden until they open it.

  • No analytics or advertising cookies

    We count visits with a cookie-free tool that doesn't store your IP address. We don't sell data or show ads.

  • AI only when you ask for it

    Some templates can draft the letter with AI based on what you tell them. It's only used when you ask, your photos are never sent to it, and you can edit the text however you like.

  • Servers in the European Union

    The website and the database are hosted in the EU.

How we make it

We're a small project, made in Spain. We design and build every template ourselves: how the envelope opens, how the snow falls or how much you have to scratch for the news to appear. Each one has a real example you can open before you start.

We write our gift ideas and guides with help from AI, and a person reviews each one before it's published. The examples they show are real gifts, made with the same templates you'll use.
